Fader Switch

The state of the Fader Switch is indicated by a LED. There are two relays, one for line mode and one for mic mode that are controlled by the fader switch in combination with the input select. In mic mode, an external Cough switch that mutes the microphone can be installed. The external Talkback switch makes it possible to use the microphone for incoming talkback thru a console internal bus. All remote connections are available on a female 9-pin D-sub connector.

On-Air Control

Depending on the input selection the BC1-IM modules drive one of two On-Air busses when the channel is not muted and the fader is open. On-Air bus 1 is assigned to channels in mic mode; bus 2 is assigned to channels in line mode. This setting can reassigned or disabled by jumper settings on the particular channel. The use of these busses depends on the setting in the Playback/Talkback Module BC1-TB.

Connectors

There are gold plated 3-pin XLR connectors, brand Neutrik, for the microphone and the line input and the channel output. The insert output and input is available on separate 1/4" gold plated TRS jacks, brand Neutrik.
